Mercer is seeking remote candidates for the following position based in the Mountain standard or Central time zone:

Client Service and Sales Specialist

We will count on you... to:

  • Convert active leads into sales and solicit participation for compensation and benefit surveys.
  • Respond to inbound calls, emails, and internet inquiries that may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
  • Conduct needs-based assessment to identify the right product(s) for clients and prospects.
  • Leverage internal connections and resources to provide answers and resolve client issues.
  • Adapt to Oracle based systems to process client and product order information.
  • Represent the client service team on internal projects by participating in meetings and communicating relevant information and tasks to the team.
  • Provide support for other internal functions as needed during times of high activity.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required; Associates degree with 3 years of experience is acceptable
  • Excellent organizational, time management, verbal, written, interpersonal and business communication skills
  • Good problem solving and judgment capabilities with strong initiative
  • Ability to effectively and accurately manage multiple tasks and projects, with a sense of urgency, and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
