Product Manager

Job Summary:

12 month contract / Must be local to Glendale, CA

For this role you will be reporting to the Manager, Product Management. You will work with various internal stakeholders to bring new digital features to market on shopDisney web and app platforms. You will define user stories, test cases and acceptance criteria to deliver on the product roadmap and will partner closely with other Product Managers and with Technology, Product Design, Merchandising and Production teams.

Position Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have an understanding of retail merchandise eCommerce mobile and web technologies, as well as Agile and Waterfall methodologies. The candidate will need to have very strong collaboration and influencing skills. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into a high-quality, simple user experience.

Desired Skills and... Experience *

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required

• 3 plus years of experience working in the digital industry, preferably with experience delivering features for mobile app as well as web

• Retail/consumer products eCommerce experience

• Experienced Analyst, supporting Technology teams to deliver business value with input from many stakeholders

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate and influence decision-making with all levels in the organization (business, executive, technical)

• Strong sense of urgency and ownership of work, with the ability to quickly pivot on multiple, high-visibility efforts on a daily (sometimes hourly) basis
