Background:

This position will support the design and development of a DoD community application that has significant DoD leadership visibility.

Responsibilities:

• Provide User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design expertise for the application/platform

• Execute all visual design and user interface stages for the platform

• Integrate application/platform usability and quality testing approaches to include functional testing, systems integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing

• Integrate application/platform usability and quality testing approaches to include performance testing, browser compatibility, performance, and DoD information assurance testing

• Work with Product Owner, Quality Engineer and Developers to ensure designs meet user needs and deliver business and strategic goals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Human Design or related field

• 8 plus years of UI/UX design experience on technology and cybersecurity programs and projects of similar scope and complexity that directly support the DoD military community Able to multi-task, self-assign work and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Ability to interact well within a team and to understand needs of customer

• Experience in designing and prototyping user interfaces and usability of web applications

• Able to multi-task, self-assign work, and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate ideas

• Active Secret clearance
