Title: UX Researcher III
Duration: 5+ Months Contract (Possible of extension)

DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a researcher who is passionate about business users and solving the challenges they face. Client transforms the businesses of hundreds of thousands of customers and millions of users. Your insights will matter - at scale. You will work in the Research & Insights Team to conduct strategic and tactical research to help shape the vision for what the future of selling should be. You’ll help provide the best experience possible for our customers by building the team’s understanding of what our users' challenges are, as well as gathering feedback on how to solve those challenges.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to identify the right questions to answer and align on research priorities in a fast-paced environment, in partnership with the existing Research & Insights team
Plan and conduct generative and evaluative... research, utilizing a range of methods, to inform the feature roadmap and designs
Communicate insights and actionable recommendations to product teams
Advise cross-functional partners on running both unmoderated and moderated concept and usability tests
Work on fast-paced projects, requiring attention to detail and working within constrained timelines
REQUIRED SKILLS
B.A./B/S, M.A./M.S. or Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Sociology or a related degree
3 years relevant experience in user research with cross-functional teams (e.g. design, product management, engineering)
Understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different user research methods
Ability to plan, design, and execute research engagements, and communicate the strategic and tactical implications for the product
Comfort with at least two qualitative methods in addition to usability testing
Excellent observation, note-taking, and synthesis skills
Comfort with executing and analyzing basic surveys
Can work independently and prioritize time between multiple projects, and adapt to changing schedules and priorities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and project management skills
NICE TO HAVE
Deep understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different user research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
Experience in relevant industry domain (i.e. CRM, marketing, e-commerce)
Understanding of, or experience with, small businesses
Familiarity with unmoderated research tools
