We are Proximity, a Software Development Company. Our main operation is based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and we have a second delivery center in Lima, Peru. We focus on providing specialized outsourcing technology services to clients in the USA and Canada.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and self-managed Graphic Designer to be able to work full time for a large and important US customer. In this role you will be able to work directly with the client of a recognized brand.
Location: CR.
Currently, work from home.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Understand and follow the brand manual
- Design infographics and other graphic design pieces, according to the client requirements.
- Send the designed pieces to the art director or client according to the established dates.
- Review the designs and make any necessary modifications.
- Collaborate with other departments within the client´s company, such as Marketing, Sales, Software Development and Operations... throughout all phases of the projects.
- Meet with the client or the art director to evacuate doubts about the requested works, make suggestions or other matters related to their role.
- Meet with the Proximity Project Manager when required.
- Stay up to date on trends in design and technologies related to production and publication.
- Other related activities required by the project, the client, or Proximity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experienced in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially with Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Knowledge of Office package
- UX/UI
- Be able to transform ideas into graphics and designs
- Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English at B2 level or higher
- Strong problem solving, not only as an individual but also as part of a team.
