Who is Florence Health?

Florence Health is dedicated to helping frontline healthcare professionals live their best life—from navigating the changing world of health to helping balance the responsibilities of work and home.

Our team recognizes the need for a better support system for nurses and advanced practice providers. This is why we created Florence Health, an online resource, and Huddle, a social networking platform — geared towards empowering nurses to share insights and experiences, connect, learn, collaborate, and support one another. What’s more: we want to help healthcare providers take better care of each other and themselves.

What You Will Do

Activate our community through conversation building and community participation

  • Analyze and evaluate our data to identify metrics that affect Huddle’s use, as well as newsletter opens and engagement, user sign-ups, and target audience
  • Help onboard new users ensuring they feel comfortable with and capable of using Huddle to... its potential
  • Facilitate connections between community members and highlight relevant opportunities for increased interaction
  • Respond to members of the community as they engage with us, as appropriate
  • Operate with a clear understanding of KPIs
  • Report on performance in a clear way, offering insights based on data
  • Work closely with content, marketing, and product teams
  • Collaborate with Editorial Director to help refine ideas that could make social media outreach and engagement more effective
  • Manage our social media channels and maintain social media publishing calendar
  • Actively post to keep our content & conversations top of mind with our target audience
  • Participate in social media posts from others and insert Florence Health into the overall healthcare conversation
  • Promote our brand and help build our reach on social media
  • Cultivate relationships with members of our audience and influencers on social media
  • Stay attuned to trends and opportunities in social media marketing

You Are

  • Passionate about crafting stories and building emotional resonance with audiences (added bonus for interest or experience in healthcare!)
  • Enjoy being a part of a small entrepreneurial team
  • Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks and see the big picture

You Have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (communication, English, journalism, marketing)
  • At least 2 years of experience managing social media platforms
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with picture and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite
