FMG is seeking a motivated Senior Instructional Designer (eLearning Task Lead). We are open to full time remote, candidates can be located anywhere in the United States.

This position collaborates with a multi-discipline team to strategize, design and implement learning and development products and services. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate multiple inputs from stakeholders and can serve as the final quality check for highly visible training deliverables including storyboards, eLearning, and supporting materials. This role will be the primary liaison with the client L&D point of contact and will have frequent engagement with client senior-level leadership. This role requires a skilled communicator who is comfortable facilitating meetings, navigating different stakeholder priorities, communicating up and down the organization and driving tasks to completion on-time and at a high level of quality. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional team including instructional systems designers, project managers, subject matter experts, and multimedia developers to ensure high quality delivery of technology facilitated training products (e.g., eLearning) for a public health audience
  • Conduct reviews of a variety of deliverables produced throughout the production life cycle to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to documented standards
  • Conduct review sessions with client stakeholders and coordinate feedback with production team
  • Seek opportunities to streamline processes and optimize client and production team interactions to ensure exceptional delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of direct client engagement experience
  • 3+ years of Experience coordinating and managing L&D projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in areas such as business administration, educational technologies, or related disciplines
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience facilitating workgroups
  • Experience in professional services consulting
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Learning Design and Technology or related field
  • Applied knowledge of learning technologies including content development using Articulate 360 (or another eLearning platform), implementation of eLearning with learning management systems, and 508 compliance
  • Experience managing the development of highly visible L&D projects for a public health government agency and audience
