Candidate Location

Candidates must be very comfortable with a remote workforce, as IZEA’s workforce is currently 100% remote. The ideal candidate should thrive with the freedom and... flexibility this structure provides.

Due to this being a work-from-home opportunity, it is posted in multiple locations. However, there is currently only one opening.

Marketplace Support Associate Overview

This position will work as an Associate Community Manager aka Marketplace Support Associate for our Shake product to oversee all interactions with Shake users and assist them as necessary. The Marketplace Support Associate will be the main point of contact for Shake users and will actively seek to mitigate any challenges on the platform, communicate actively with Shake users, and work closely with the Product Team to improve the user experience on the platform. The Marketplace Support Associate will be the main point person for all Shake inventory and user related questions and will work cross functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering and other departments to maintain high user satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Shake Review: Manage Shake inventory on the platform including reviewing all Shake submissions, communicating changes needed as requested.
  • Hubspot Chat: Monitoring the live Shake chat for users who are experiencing issues or responding to questions from potential users.
  • Featured Shake Selection: Responsible for maintaining overall site hygiene and appearance, including highlighting featured Shakes and Creators, implementing different categories for upcoming holidays and events, etc.
  • Order monitoring/check in: Monitor all Shake orders daily to ensure orders are progressing as expected, communicate with users to assist as necessary
  • Creator outreach: Build our Creator network by outreaching and onboarding new Creators to join the platform. Assist with their onboarding and set up as necessary.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns: Work with the Marketing Team to facilitate Shake campaigns as necessary.
  • Talent manager onboarding/questions: Work with Talent Managers to present Shake and what can be accomplished on the platform with their talent, assist with onboarding their talent as necessary.
  • Product Communication: Work with the Product team to communicate any issues on the platform, flag major user challenges, and other possible concerns on Shake.
  • Participate in Product meetings to act as the voice of Shake Users
  • Verify that Shake inventory is maintained; verify that user communication is being escalated accordingly; verify that overall site-hygiene is well maintained

Experience, Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience with influencer marketing and social media
  • Experience communicating with influencers
  • Strong communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with users and stakeholders
  • Strong writing skills
  • Self-starter who can proactively tackle problems
  • Highly organized

Nice to Have

  • Experience in community management
  • Experience working with talent managers
