Position Summary

The Curriculum Developer has deep mathematics content knowledge in at least one grade level and is committed to continuous development. Candidates should be comfortable with both giving and receiving feedback, as we regularly use this approach to improve our professional practice.

Key Responsibilities
-Craft achievement descriptors and proficiency indicators that are
standards-based and align with instructional content

  • Create blueprints for paper-based, interview, and digital assessment items, including
    technology-enhanced items
  • Write or revise assessment items using clear and concise language
  • Review assessment items for quality and adherence to established guidelines
  • Provide constructive feedback to colleagues based on reviews
  • Develop paper-based and digital tools to capture observational assessment data

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience teaching or coaching in early childhood (prekindergarten–grade 2)
  • Thorough knowledge of the national math standards or comparable state mathematics standards, including the Progression documents
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and ability to quickly learn new technologies as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience teaching or coaching Eureka Math
  • Experience teaching or coaching multiple grades levels
  • Experience working in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, virtual environment
  • Familiarity with Universal Design for Learning guidelines
  • Familiarity with English Language Learner support strategies
  • Experience authoring curricular assessment materials for publication
