Instructor iOS Mobile Application Developer
(This is a fully remote teaching position)

Responsibilities:
- Work with instructional team to provide purposeful lessons and class activities
- Plan daily lessons... deliver lectures and tutorials
- Support students during project work
- Deftly and patiently field student questions and provide feedback in lectures and office hours
- Assess students on a continual basis and provide prompt feedback on student progress
- Cultivate a dynamic, collaborative, and supportive classroom community
- Contribute to local evangelism, admissions, and nurture activities, such as attendance at meetups, speaking at conferences, leading workshops, etc.
- Establish and maintain high academic, attendance, and behavior expectations for students and staff
- Build and refine development curriculum and assignments
- Utilize student feedback and experimentation to continuously improve teaching and assessment methods
- Evaluate new tools, packages, and tutorials for use in the curriculum
- Willing to work nights and weekends as needed for to help students
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related field
- 5+ years of experience in industry in a developer role
- Exceptional communication skills; strong interest in education. Multiple years of experience teaching a technical subject preferred
- Previous background in teaching and/or mentoring aspiring developers
- Eager to shape the skills, minds, and trajectories of the newest generation of innovators- Will be required to be knowledgeable and experienced in the following:
- Strong iOS framework skills like UIKit with 3+ years of experience
- Strong Swift skills with an ideal 3+ years of experience
- Experience / familiarity with Objective-C
- Experience with common iOS data storage
- Experience with Mobile UI, App Frameworks and best practices
- Experience of version control like Git
- Experience with the App store and Deployment
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
- Familiarity with CocoaPods dependency manger
- Familiarity with Agile project management
- Experience with writing/authoring Curriculum
