Inside Client Product Specialist

Responsible for a particular set of products and services, our Specialists learn their portfolio inside and out. Our Inside Sales teams rely on our team for technical advice, both before and during the sales process. Our Specialists directly advise customers on everything from product features and configurations, to pricing and availability. However, complex the question, they’re ready to deliver the technical solutions which meet customers’ needs via phone, chat, social or email. They also reach out to customers in order to proactively help uncover their needs.

What you’ll achieve

As a Client Solutions Group Inside Product Specialist, you... will deliver technical solutions to the Inside Sales Team that address customers’ varying needs, either working on your own or with a subject matter expert on more complex solutions.

You will:

  • Be a sales advisor with client technical knowledge for the sales team, working collaboratively to help them fulfill and exceed their goals
  • Based on the client’s needs, recommend end-user business solutions, products and services
  • Research market factors to anticipate customer needs and propose end-user technical solutions
  • Establish relationships, connect with customers and eventually manage your own set of opportunities.
  • Proactively reach out to customers to help them solve problems with our solutions
  • Assist in the ongoing technical education and development of yourself and the broader team

Essential Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with proven sales/relationship skills to build upon
  • Focus on results both with the team and the individual
  • Eagerness to learn and become a specialist in the Client Solutions area of the Dell Technologies portfolio
  • Critical thinking and the ability to prioritize
  • Technical Knowledge Not Required

Desirable Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
  • Curiosity in Cutting Edge Client Technology Solutions
  • Looking for a career with long term potential in many areas
