Java/J2ee Developer

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Java/J2EE Developer for our client in the Consulting domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 3-6 Months Contract (with chances of extension)

Location: 100% Remote

Role: Java/J2EE Developer

Primary Skills: Java, SpringBoot, AWS, MicroServices

Role Description: The Java/J2EE Developer must have at least 5+ years of experience.

Skill Requirements:

• Java 8,10, microservices, AWS, SpringBoot are mandatory. Should have experience having transitioned from on prem to AWS environment, working in a distributed 24/7 environment.
• Hard core coders who can code from scratch with good communication skills.
• Project objective: consolidation of internal customer service... tools allowing real time 360 view of customer and their pet.
• Working experience in a cloud-based environment, coding with java, microservices.
• Have you coded from scratch, in a prod, distributed 24/7 environment
• Ecommerce environment, transitioned from on prem to AWS, monolith to services.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 5+ years

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis
