Job Title - EDI Transaction Specialist Job Location 100 Remote 1+ years Job Description Job Description - Summary Seeking an individual with Electronic Data Interchange Transaction experience to fill a short-term role for our Client -Health project team, and healthcare providers submitting or wishing to submit transactions electronically. Job Responsibilities Responsible for the support of EDI by implementing new EDI trading partners, maintaining existing EDI trading partners, Helping Business Analysts for creating functional specs, status reports and training material for projects. Act effectively as point-of-contact on status of EDI transactions from internal and external customers. Conduct and perform analysis of EDI transactions, document and produce metric reports. Conduct EDI... processes-setup, to test and implement all mandatory EDI mapping. Collaborate with clients to manage business related processes per the service level agreement. Create relationships with third party vendors and external clients to implement CORE 270271,276277 and 837835 claims transactions. Develop and prepare EDI documentation for internal and external use. Managing daily operations of all HIPAA 270271,837(PDI), NCPDP ,276277 and 835 transactions and sub-systems application development area focused on Java, COTS(i.e. XEServer, XEngine, XEConnect and Operating rules) and sqlplsql technologies. Ensuring the application development area uses sound practices and processes for implementing custom developed and packaged solutions. Understanding Functional spec and coordinating with offshore team. Ensure production systems are performing well and operating without defects. Act as subject matter expert for EDI HIPAA 270271,837,835,276277 and NCPDP transactions. Experience Preferred Skills Required Must have experience with the following 7 or more years of experience in EDI healthcare transactions 837 PDI, 270271, 276277, and 835 and NCPDP pharmacy claims experience Experience working with JavaJ2EE Technology Have a good knowledge of Edifecs XEServerSpecbuilderXEngineXEConnectEAM server Experience working with XML, JMS, SOAPMIME webservices Experience working as EDI developer (X12, NCPDP, HIPAA 5010 transactions) Hands on experience with Linux, SQL, PLSQL, shell scripting, Experience working on AWS Environment Experience with version control (SVN, Git) Understanding of database-related technology such as Oracle, MySQL.
