Position Summary

We have a unique opportunity in our Employment Practice for an entrepreneurial, creative paralegal residing in California to join us with option for a remote basis. The Litigation Paralegal will support multinational companies with their global labor and employment needs. The Paralegal will perform a variety of tasks including project administration, researching law, investigation preparation, preparing and summarizing documents, organizing case and project files, etc.

Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the Fair Chance Ordinance.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certification / degree from accredited college or university is preferred.
  • Paralegal experience is preferred, in particular working in a labor/employment practice and Class Action/PAGA matters.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams; Lexis-Nexis and WestLaw, Live... Note, Document Management System, expense and billing systems.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and take initiative on tasks/projects with minimal supervision.
  • Must be a self-learner with the motivation to continuously develop skillsets, particularly pertaining to ever-changing software and technology.
  • Native language ability in a language other than English is preferred.
