The CAM develops and closes a pipeline of Commercial transactions utilizing both direct sales and channel partner relationships in the assigned vertical and regional markets, and ensures Ygrene’s quality standards via continuous oversight of contractor performance.

  • *Commercial Account Manager Duties and Responsibilities:**

Business Development: 40%

  • Sourcing, marketing and networking with affiliates in vertical markets.
  • Conducting follow up and generating new improvement projects
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in designated channel accounts, and works to win and fund transactions.
  • Train affiliate and channel partners on Ygrene’s financing options, qualification criteria, and arms partners with the information and sales tools needed to compellingly present Ygrene financing to their customers.
  • Develop business cases with partners to demonstrate how our program generates additional profits and/or top line revenue for... that partner.
  • Work directly with senior leadership, marketing and sales teams at each partner to earn the right to be each partner’s preferred financing option.
  • Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

Origination: 30%

  • Sell through partner organizations to property owners in coordination with partner sales force.
  • Present and advocate Ygrene financing directly to property owners, which often involves defining the specific drivers of the purchase decision for a prospective client and ensuring that Ygrene’s financing is presented in a way that meets their objectives and needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely information related to project and relationship level data in CRM (Salesforce) system.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of Ygrene at all times

Transaction Management: 20%

  • Work with property owners, channel partners and operations staff to manage the transaction through all stages of the transaction pipeline.
  • Coordinate the involvement of Ygrene personnel, including support, marketing, and management resources, in order to meet Ygrene’s performance objectives and partners’ expectations.
  • Interact and conduct follow-up with property owners on questions, concerns or outstanding issues regarding the financing transaction.
  • Other Duties as assigned.
  • *Commercial Account Manager Skills and Experience:**
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Commercial Contractors, Brokers, and/or Property Managers a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business to business selling
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial real estate finance, equipment finance, and/or alternative financing strategies such as PACE, leasing and Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s) a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Bilingual Spanish - English highly preferred.
  • Self-starter; ability to take the initiative to identify the top partners active within the vertical markets in each category, establish contact, and build a strong working relationship.
  • Ability to train and support partner sales forces.
  • Proficient in SalesForce to manage sales reporting systems and deliver monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate level skills operating Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to attend offsite meetings, trade shows and other marketing events.
  • Ability to analyze complex information and make decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and rapid growth.
