  • *Job Description:** SIG is searching for a Business Development & Partnerships Lead to develop new business opportunities and grow strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will have the expertise and experience to build solid relationships that support the organization’s strategic objectives.

SIG is a digitally native organization with personnel distributed across three continents. Therefore, the position is for remote work only, preferably based in US compatible timezones.

  • *Responsibilities.** The following list provides a summary of the position’s responsibilities:
  • Following up new business opportunities and developing/managing strategic partnerships to grow business.
  • Coordinating a team to prepare all documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs) for consulting services.
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities for consulting services or other products based on SIG’s intellectual property.
  • Building solid relationships with clients, partners, users and other stakeholders across our domains.
  • Presenting new business opportunities to company executives and management.
  • Developing, reviewing and commenting on contracts, budgets and scope of work
  • Mobilize resources for new projects
  • *Requirements.** The following list provides a summary of the position’s requirements:
  • 10+ yrs experience at an environmental consulting firm or equivalent experience in a mission-driven organization
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • 3-5 years experience in leadership and management
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Detail-oriented and persuasive.
  • Bachelor's degree in Natural Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.
  • *Terms of employment**: Full-time
