This role is ultimately focused on improving the employee experience at Lumen through the development of listening and engagement activities. Leveraging data-driven... approaches to inform talent management strategies, this role aims to tell the story of our impact to the business and how we enable transformative growth while supporting both career and personal wellness of our employees. This internal consultant will be responsible for influencing the refined strategy of our employee experience practice and operating model.In addition to leading assigned EX practices, this person will serve as a subject matter consultant alongside our HR Solutions Team, utilized across a variety of ad hoc consulting projects to support our Lumen business needs. This consultant will partner closely with Talent Analytics, business leaders, and other HR COEs such as leadership enablement, benefits and wellness.The Main Responsibilities+ Develops and drives highest-opportunity employee experience strategies, working with partners across multiple business operations as necessary to achieve stated objectives.+ Works closely with senior management to develop and prioritize holistic employee experience and communication programs that meet company objectives, including those in the areas of employee engagement, enablement, and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.+ Collaborates across Talent Management team on Employee Listening Strategy, uncovering actionable insights to drive improvements in the employee experience.+ Identifies business opportunities and manages major initiatives via research and analysis of trends and opportunities to understand evolving employee experience expectations.+ Provides informal oversight to the team to ensure strategic alignment, priorities, processes, and timelines are met.+ Ensuring from even before day one, we are building a culture that excites our team members, sets them up for success, helps them thrive and continuously grow within Lumen+ Serve as an internal Brand Ambassador for our culture, values, leadership attributes, while also maintaining a constant pulse on the needs of employees+ Manage a portfolio of employee experience initiatives+ Lead cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, craft, socialize, and implement innovative solutions which may include employee action teams+ Utilize data to inform decision making; collect data where it does not existWhat We Look For in a Candidate+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience+ Typically, 8+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 6+ years related experience with a Master’s Degree+ Leverages data to inform decisions+ Employee engagement, lifecycle, pulse survey experience+ Influences without authority+ Demonstrated experience with program management and the ability to recommend strategic direction and influence communication+ Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with various levels of leaders throughout the organization+ Experience developing research questions and moderating focus groups, 1:1 interviews, and journey mapping+ Degree in I/O Psych, OD, Human Resources, or Communication related field preferred+ Experience with Qualtrics preferredRequisition #: 251513When applying for a position, you may be subject to a background screen (criminal records check, motor vehicle report, and/or drug screen), depending on the requirements for the position.
