Reporting to the Director of Marketing Operations, the Marketing Analyst will establish themselves as a data subject matter expert, performing deep-dive analysis to understand and optimize key levers of our marketing funnel (acquisition, engagement, retention, and expansion), covering a range of marketing tactics, and our website performance as well.

In partnership with the Director of MOPs and the marketing leadership group, the Marketing Analyst is responsible for identifying and prioritizing analytics requirements from key stakeholders... across the marketing organization and designing core metrics that serve as the source of truth for the team’s efforts and KPIs.

What You Will Do:

  • Act as the main point of contact for any analysis and reporting, identifying and defining requirements for reporting, analysis, and insight in collaboration with senior Marketing leaders and business stakeholders across the marketing organization and beyond; including Revenue Operations, Customer Success and Product teams.
  • Manage reporting for all of our key marketing systems (Marketo, SFDC, Bizible, and BI tools) and support website performance reporting
  • Provides data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic and tactical decision-making for key marketing initiatives, mapped to the buyer journey
  • Dive deep into data to identify trends and report on KPIs, including growth and improvement opportunities, and areas of most impact in support of Assent’s goals
  • Ownership over marketing metrics, engagement and performance analytics and reporting (i.e. Salesforce dashboards, Website - Google GA, email marketing, events, etc.)
  • Monitor campaigns and lead flow to help our team optimize performance across programs, channels, and vendors
  • Make recommendations that enhance our reporting capabilities and ability to scale
  • Develop and oversee Salesforce dashboards for lead generation, MQL, SQL, Opportunity generation, opportunity tracking, and win/loss info
  • Continually enhance capability of reporting of ROI of marketing initiatives
  • Maintain all campaign tagging processes and updates, and ensure accurate tagging for data cleanliness, using systems such as Bizible, Marketo and SFDC
  • Lead preparation of inputs for marketing quarterly business reviews, as well as monthly planning and forecast analysis tied to business and team KPIs

What You Bring,

We strongly value your talent, energy and passion. It will also be valuable to Assent if you have the following qualifications,

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Marketing Reporting and/or Data Analytics role
  • 3+ years’ experience in B2B space - Bonus points for SaaS
  • Passionate about insights, continuous learning, and how important data analysis and reporting are to the overall success of the business; able to communicate a deeper understanding of customers and prospective customers for the benefit of all stakeholders
  • Salesforce Administrator or Super-user (bonus for Certification 1&2)
  • Proficient using BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, etc
