  • *ABOUT THE ROLE**

Mynd is looking for a senior marketing leader to build and scale our Product Marketing organization. As the leader of the Product Marketing team, you’ll lead GTM launch planning for new products, services, audiences, and markets. You should be a seasoned strategist who is equal parts left brain and right brain, and should relish the opportunity to recruit and mentor a team of world-class PMMs. You have a knack for analyzing data, teasing out insights, and distilling complex information into crisp artifacts, digestible soundbites, and relatable stories. You have a history of building happy teams, infrastructure, and processes, and driving cross-functional projects through to completion.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you will sit at the intersection of Marketing, Product, Growth, and Sales with considerable influence and visibility throughout the company. This is a remarkable opportunity to build out a new core function at a Series C hypergrowth startup.

  • *RESPONSIBILITIES**
  • Recruit, lead, and mentor a tight-knit team of highly motivated product marketers.
  • Uncover and craft crisp messaging and compelling stories about Mynd products and services for our Sales, Marketing, Bizdev, and Customer Success teams.
  • Lead a market research agency to design qualitative and quantitative research studies, extract insights, and develop internal-facing personas.
  • (Re)train the company on the key demographic, firmographic, and psychographic characteristics of our target audiences.
  • Develop new pricing, segment, and market models to inform the product roadmap.
  • Build a strategy to surprise, delight, and gain the loyalty of our resident (tenant) customers and key partners (home builders, real estate agents, etc).
  • Inject creativity, customer centricity, an iconic voice, and an upleveled aesthetic into all of our materials--real estate investing should be fun!
  • *QUALIFICATIONS**
  • 10+ years of product marketing experience at a technology or real estate company.
  • B2B SaaS, real estate, and/or experience at a beloved consumer brand is a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of product marketing methodologies.
  • Ability to thrive in a highly-matrixed, fast-moving work environment.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate investing is a plus but not required.

This role is based at Mynd’s headquarters in the vibrant Uptown neighborhood of Oakland, California. Remote candidates who can travel occasionally and have a history of managing distributed teams are also encouraged to apply.
