12 months contract onsite in Richmond,VA

Candidates need to be US Citizen or Green Card holders due to nature of client business to obtain necessary Security Clearance

Skills:

  • Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in Project Management. Experience in delivering complex projects and executive level communications for multiple banks supporting Treasury. Experience in working with Data Center vendors for delivering complex projects that require infrastructure On Premise and Cloud infrastructure deployment and cloud infrastructure integration with existing technologies.
  • Communications: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, creativity, attention to detail, and oral and written communications skills tailored for the intended audience.
  • Risk Management: Understanding and applying risk management discipline in decision making, and contributing to his or her function’s risk management.
  • Decision Making: Works under direction and guidance in planning... details of procedures and methods to attain definite objectives. Makes decisions within established or widely accepted standards. Achieves assigned/planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, training, business principles, and practical experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly influences activities and coordinates complex and critical projects from conceptual phase through implementation, and completion. Anticipates high level needs for clients and other resources and prioritizes established requirements.
  • Develops and maintains the detailed project plans that clearly define the requirements, identify resource needs, establish clear and achievable objectives, balances competing demands to ensure project is completed on time, and is within the approved budget.
  • Lead efforts to identify risk/issues, recommend process improvement and corrective action plans to meet customer requirements.
  • Monitors and evaluates progress and performance against the project plan and develops resolution of time critical issues and minimize delays.
  • Generates timely and appropriate communications to clients and resources regarding the status of project by preparing detailed status report and coordinating presentations.
  • Ensures that projects comply with division policies, quality standards and regulatory and statutory requirements as outlined by the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
