Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer interested in supporting an enterprise modernization project?

This is a great opportunity to leverage your subject matter expertise to drive automation and improve time to market.

This is a contract to hire opportunity.

Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration.

Responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer:

Support the implementation of CI/CD pipelines for on-premise and cloud environments
Coach and train technology teams in DevSecOps to drive automated production releases

Develop interfaces, services, and API integrations as needed to improve user experience
Support and drive enterprise evolution toward public cloud - AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC)

Develop best practices, standards, guidelines, templates, and... patterns to serve as common CI/CD solutions

Support efforts to increase speed and frequency of production releases via collaboration

Requirements of the DevOps Engineer:

Extensive hands-on DevOps experience

Experience with CI/CD orchestration tools (Jenkins)

Build and deployment tools (MS Build, Ant) and scripting languages (Groovy, Python)

Source control tools: Git and SVN; Terraform (IaC); microservices

Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), AWS and OpenShift cloud and container platforms

Team collaboration and content management such as Confluence, Microsoft SharePoint and MS Teams

Development tools such as SQL Management Studio, Visual Studio and VS Code

Ticketing/tracking tools: BMC Remedy, CA Agile Central, ServiceNow and Jira
