Job Description
Sr. Azure DevOps Engineer needed for a 10 month remote contract opportunity.

W-2 Candidates only, no C2C or Third Party is available for this opening.

Description:

Goal: Landing Zone is an initial secure environment that ensures when an application is deployed in the public cloud all the required ‘plumbing’ is in place providing greater agility and compliance with firm security and governance requirements. The Landing Zone team will work on providing a self-service mechanism for users to request a secure environment in the public cloud with appropriate guardrails in place. Couple of examples from the preliminary list of features and components that are in scope for the Landing Zone automation are as follows:

Customer expects the following services to be performed by the consultants being added:

  • Develop Landing Zone Automation Framework
  • Advise on framework
  • Implementation of Landing Zone Controls
  • Publish supporting documentation
  • Manage integration... dependencies (network, RBAC, policies)
  • Develop Landing Zone Self Service APIs/UI
  • Help establish strategy for developing patterns
  • Assist customers with Landing Zone onboarding process
  • Create Landing Zones and manage integration dependencies (e.g. network, RBAC, policies)
  • Develop Azure service controls as configuration/code
  • Create, publish, and maintain modules/blueprints (terraform/ARM) to setup services
  • Publish supporting documentation
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions if required to Customer associates
  • Terraform & Power-shell as required languages for IaC
  • Kafka experience preferred
