THE ROLE

As a Director, Recruiting, you will be part of a team that works collaboratively together to support the highest priorities and critical recruiting needs of the organization. As a recruiter, you will be flexible to flowing to support the teams with the greatest needs. You will leverage your passion for recruitment to ensure the goals of the team are achieved. You’ll help hundreds of professionals connect to their next career steps where they will have an expanded impact on our mission. You’ll also be helping to fuel a broad scale movement of leaders who advocate for and work towards educational equity across a variety of sectors. In this effort, you will work closely with hiring managers at all levels of the organization, including senior executives, and should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and professional judgement. You will collaborate with a variety of teams and demonstrate an ability to quickly... learn and recruit for an array of roles.

This is a temporary position that will last from approximately June through August. During that time it will be a 40 hours per week role.

THE PERSON

  • In this role, you will be a valuable partner and resource to teams which may include regional and national teams. You will work as part of a team of recruiters to determine recruiting priorities and ensure the resources of the team are fully deployed across the organization.
  • You will understand the profile of the role, work with leaders to develop and execute a comprehensive search plan including sourcing talent, reviewing candidate applications, and conducting interviews.
  • You will identify and cultivate strong talent for your roles, working to build benches over time. You will also work closely with internal People Team staff, Regional Operations, and Executive Leaders to develop internal benches of talent that will flow to fill critical needs.
  • As you work with teams, you will work to reinforce a strong culture by designing and executing on unbiased, equitable and inclusive hiring processes.
  • You will support the needs of your hiring managers by sharing progress to established goals, providing strategic hiring consultation, and designing efficient, effective, and inclusive hiring processes.
  • You will be adaptable, embrace change, and be able to manage a diverse requisition load.
  • You will help contribute to positive candidate experiences throughout the selection process. You will utilize your insights to evolve your approaches to the candidate experience and work with People Team partners so that your learnings can inform candidate onboarding and retention strategies.
  • You will train, develop and help invest leaders in the cultivation of potential candidates for designated positions. You will leverage our client relationship applicant tracking database and applicable data to manage progress and adjust the strategic plans based on trends.
  • You will create clear, strong and effective communications to attract talent, communicate the organization’s mission, and ensure that candidates receive timely information throughout the selection process.

THE MUST HAVES

Prior experience

  • 3+ years of recruitment experience for full time staff positions
  • Work Demands
