Reporting to the Enterprise Risk and Compliance (ERC) Consent Order and State Exam Management Leader, the Director for Security and Technology Controls Testing will be an integral part of Equifax's security and technology compliance testing efforts, with a specific focus on control testing in support of various regulatory and consent order requirements. You will join a team that operates at the intersection of security, technology, privacy, and compliance. You will be responsible for developing an understanding of the Company's information security control framework, the implementation of those controls, the Company's key business processes and assets, and then using that knowledge to develop test plans, develop and coordinate evidence requests, and execute control testing. The chosen candidate will be versatile, have the ability to adapt to changes quickly and operate in an extremely fast-paced environment, and communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform security and technology control testing, including developing test plans, developing and coordinating evidence requests, executing control testing, documenting results, and communicating results to management.
  • Ability to partner with different stakeholder groups who own or operate the relevant controls (e.g., Security, Technology, and Privacy), to understand conditions that impact control testing efforts and think critically regarding technical issues to develop strategies and suggestions for addressing issues and implementing solutions.
  • Demonstrate versatility and urgency through the ability to manage priorities and deliver quality work product on time.
  • Produce deliverables that are clear, concise, and conform with company and industry standards.
  • Maintain competency through ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and best practices in information technology and security.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of IT/Security audit and/or information security controls testing experience including experience testing technical controls such as access management, encryption, patch management, vulnerability management, or network security.
  • Knowledge of key technical concepts such as network design and cloud platform architecture, and experience with and understanding of Information Security governance programs and control framework concepts, particularly the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
  • Knowledge of information security and technology best practices, regulations, and regulatory trends especially as it pertains to auditing and control testing of information security programs.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%.

  • Industry recognized certification (e.g., CISA, CISM, CRISC, CRMA, CISSP), a plus.
  • Proficient skills in business applications such as GSuite and ServiceNow.
