Randstad is looking to hire a Production Artist for a remote, 6 month contract (w/ a potential to extend or convert permanent) for a client in the Investment Industry. location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
job type: Contract
salary: $33 - 37 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

As the Production Artist you'll be an indispensable part of the creative team that brings life to our marketing strategies and goals. You'll combine your creativity and technical talents to produce a wide range of digital and print media from websites and emails to brand and identity systems, working closely with our Senior Designers and Associate Creative Director along the way.
A typical day for you may include rolling out design systems into multiple assets... within a campaign, updating branded templates and style guides to sync with our website and multimedia teams, collaborating with project managers and leaders to improve processes and workflows and reviewing the shared servers for consistency and organization. A less typical day may include photo editing and retouching of our imagery library, engaging in creative brainstorms and reviews with other design teams, researching the latest production techniques and knowhow for better efficiency or hopping on a call with a fabricator to chat about new methods of printing for a special packaging project.
You're a true production artist with experience in both digital and print content, design, production and process, who truly loves the production-side of design.
You're adept at implementing (and improving) template design systems and style guides to create multiple deliverables for websites, emails, newsletters, direct mail and more.
You know your way around brand systems, standards and guidelines and understand how to apply them to multiple media types.
You're ready to get to work preparing developer-/print-ready files, resolving and communicating issues, testing digital projects and/or attending press checks.
You're really good at collaborating and enjoy being part of a team mixed with an ability to be self-motivated and directed.
You're super organized and ready to share that talent with the team-at-large.
You've got a good attitude, are open to direction and truly love what you do.
You're well versed in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and Sketch and InVision, with some familiarity in Adobe Experience Manager. (Bonus if you've got developer and/or animation skills!)
You've got about 3-5 years practical design experience, ideally at an agency, firm or studio.
