The Sales Development Representative is responsible for prospecting, increasing revenue, managing, qualifying, distributing, and reporting on leads for the US team. This role collaborates closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize pipeline creation for Wise Athena’s US Expansion.

What do we expect your role to be?

  • Utilizes the company’s HubSpot Account and manages all lead sources to build and maintain a lead development pipeline.

  • Speaks with prospective clients and decision-makers about Wise Athena’s services, product offerings, and value... proposition.

  • Asks required questions of contacts to categorize as a qualified lead for Head of Sales, answers questions, and validates business information obtained through the communication.

  • Articulates a fundamental understanding of Wise Athena’s’ Solutions in order to successfully manage and overcome prospect misperceptions or objections.

  • Builds and cultivates prospect relationships by conducting follow-up communications in order to move Leads through the qualifying process.

  • Identifies best appointment times and schedules meetings to accommodate both the prospect and the appropriate Sales Teams. Follows up with appropriate parties to confirm scheduling and discuss outcomes.

  • Manages and audits contact data in HubSpot to ensure accurate information and track the contact through the sales process.

  • Documents all interactions and activity in applicable systems on a timely basis.

  • Generates and distributes schedules/reports that update leadership and designated colleagues of the status or development of each prospect as they move through the pipeline.

  • Discusses contact and prospects with applicable internal experts to clarify issues and finalize sales data, as requested.

  • Development of email, direct mail, and other marketing and sales programs that relate to business development and sales requirements, as directed.

  • Development of Outbound Campaigns for monthly distribution, and creation of cadences necessary to convert prospects to lead.

  • Maintains knowledge of services, competitive activity, and other general business information of interest to prospects and clients.

  • Participates in team meetings and events

What experience is needed?

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 1(+) years of recent experience in an Outbound and Lead Generation Sales Role

  • Passion for prospecting and sales best practices

  • Background/Business acumen in email, phone Prospecting, or C-level communications.

  • Strong and effective written, verbal/conversational, and listening skills with the ability to gain trust and interest in contacts.

  • Knowledge of Athena’s’ sales process, products, and services (training provided).

  • MS Office and sales automation tools

  • 1(+) years B2B Sales experience required.

  • Experience documenting sales activities and managing CRM information

  • HubSpot Experience required

  • Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive personality and drive to exceed goals.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • Computer literate (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Meets, Zoom) with the ability to quickly learn other computer applications as needed.

  • Highly Coachable
