The Director, Field Medical Affairs (MA), will play a pivotal role as a field-based professional with scientific and therapeutic area expertise that provisions the business objectives across the product life cycle within a designated geographic area of coverage. You will be the trusted scientific partner to key external specialists by conducting timely, appropriate and frequent scientific exchanges to enhance the understanding of the scientific and medical value of our products, aligned with the strategic objectives of MA. The Director should be highly trained in the field and be well-versed in clinical and basic science to be able to deliver cutting edge data and technical/practical education to Health Care Professionals (HCP).
Primary responsibilities include, keeping abreast of medical and scientific developments in Immunology to help identify and critically assess research opportunities. An advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g., MD, PharmD, PhD ) with a minimum of 5 years related work experience (clinical, managed care, or industry experience). Experience in Immunology, Allergy, Respiratory or Dermatology as a field medical representative would be preferred. A strong understanding and knowledge of local regulations and codes of practice for pharmaceutical industry, as they apply to non-promotional activities.
