Tap Dating is currently building a next-generation dating app called TAP!, with plans to launch in January 2021. As Marketing Director, you’ll have great influence over TAP!’s image and branding during this exciting time for our company. You’ll take charge of developing a comprehensive marketing strategy while collaborating with the CEO, Creative Director, and Marketing Advisor to hone our target audience, guide content, initiate paid digital advertising, plan virtual and in-person events, manage social media campaigns, and own the strategy and execution... of customer acquisition, conversion optimization and retention. If you’re comfortable bouncing back-and-forth between strategy and tactics, and you can think big-picture but easily get down into the weeds to execute, then we want to hear from you!
ACQUISITION: Grow the brand and user base. Own both paid and organic acquisition. Identify and test new acquisition channels (paid and earned) to diversify and scale our customer acquisition efforts.
CONVERSION OPTIMIZATION: Understand the mechanics of the customer journey and conversion rates at each step. Develop tools, processes, and campaigns to optimize conversion rates.
RETENTION: Understand, manage, and improve subscription churn.
PERFORMANCE MARKETING AND ANALYTICS: CAC, LTV, AOV, churn, conversion rates, abandoned cart rates, etc. are second nature to you. You have the ability to manipulate multiple data sources in order to drive insights that identify trends, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations.
WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time, 20 hours per week.
EQUITY COMPENSATION: 2.95% - 4.33% company ownership, issued through authorized common stock with a 4-year vesting period. We’re offering heightened equity compensation in lieu of salary to early team members.
MONTHLY STIPEND: $1,000. This company is being self-funded throughout the early stages of design, development, and growth. Post-launch and once the company starts generating consistent revenue, we’ll be issuing competitive salary agreements as well.
