We’re looking for a full-time Senior Support Engineer to join our team as we accelerate adoption of BrightHive Data Collaborations across organizations, networks, and communities. As our first support engineer, you’ll get to know our customers, learn their problems, and write code to solve them using our platform. Sometimes, that will mean working with our product and engineering team to spec out new features; other times, it will mean writing custom calculation pipelines or ETLs. You’ll be the... technical face of the company, and will gain subject matter expertise across a variety of sectors--particularly education and workforce development. And as we grow our team, we’ll be looking to you to establish yourself in a leadership role. In addition to working with our customers, you’ll also partner with our internal product & engineering, account management, and consultative services teams. You’ll set the tone and precedent for the BrightHive enterprise customer experience.
Just as important, you should look forward to working on something new every week, and to applying what you’ve learned in new contexts. You should be an adept technical communicator, since you’ll be working directly with our customers’ technical teams. You might find yourself sitting down with a state Department of Higher Education official and discussing possible return-on-investment metrics for vocational ed programs; or you might find yourself figuring out a way to extract data from an idiosyncratic CRM that a nonprofit deployed in 1993.
