Senior Learning Consultant 1715 (H)

Global Support Enablement (GSE), part of the Global Customer Support organization, executes programs to support the goals and priorities of the Support organization, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. The Learning and Development (L&D) team partners with GSE counterparts and stakeholders to enable Support workmate performance with learning and development.

The Senior Learning Consultant prepares, delivers, and evaluates learning content for Support that is aligned with business goals and priorities. This role conducts skills and knowledge gap analyses, creates training plans,develops engaging instructional content, facilitates training and measures and monitors performance. To be successful in this role, you should have experience creating interactive blended learning content including live virtual training, e-learning, and coaching. We are looking for candidates with strong experience building effective relationships with leaders and... stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ultimately, you will help us execute on our most important initiatives while helping employees boost their performance.

Responsibilities:

Training Development and Facilitation

  • Act as a strategic consultant to understand business priorities, identify skills gaps, and develop training plans
  • Prepare timely and relevant educational content and collateral to help our employees develop their skills and adopt systems, tools, and processes in a variety of modalities
  • Design programs to support professional development initiatives
  • Facilitate live virtual training programs in multiple locations
  • Create e-learning content and develop performance support materials
  • Remain accountable to commitments, quality, and desired outcomes

Design and implement proficiency standards for critical enablement programs

  • Align with leaders acting as a strategic consultant to understand proficiency needs
  • Develop KPIs and assess the impact of training on employee performance; monitoring skills and adoption
  • Drive desired outcomes and report those outcomes to leadership

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate experience helping organizations adopt new processes
  • Have worked in organizations that deliver SaaS, cloud-based solutions
  • Be able to bridge the gap between technology and people
  • Demonstrate ability to overcome learner resistance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree, professional certification or verified work experience in education, training, or a similar role
  • Typically 10+ years experience in in technology or relevant field
  • Instructional design and content development experience; including needs analysis that requires evaluation of intangibles
  • Excellent communication skills; presentation and facilitation skills
  • Proven ability to visualize information in presentations and video to influence and engage audiences
  • Analytical, strategic thinking, problem solving, planning, and execution skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, experience building cross-functional relationships
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to deliver results independently

$85 per hour Remote (Preference for Bay Area based Candidates) 4 Month Assignment
