Position Summary:
We are a software technology company looking for an experienced digital Project Manager to lead key projects across our web marketing roadmap. This role will be responsible for leading cross-functional digital projects from inception to release, and will be a critical participant in our drive to transform our digital experiences on our website and other marketing properties. The ideal candidate will have experience working across a wide variety of roles and teams, and be equally comfortable working on projects that involve design and business stakeholders as they are working with technical development teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage web projects across strategy, design, development, marketing, and other stakeholder teams
- Conduct interviews, secondary research, and analysis to gather... project requirements
- Translate requirements into agile project plans, epic briefs, and user stories
- Work with web team to optimize web process and digital workflows within Jira
- Manage and adapt timelines and cross-team interlocks across the web roadmap
- Host regular stand-ups and meetings with team and project leads connected to the web roadmap
- Support web producers and strategists with project planning and process documentation
- Create weekly status updates on behalf of web marketing to share across our teams and stakeholders
- Partner with Web Marketing Leadership to oversee special projects and initiatives
- Create documentation, slides, and other artifacts to communicate web roadmap status, remove blockers, and scope changes
- Capture requirements and forecast resources needed to deliver projects against team capacity
- Conduct project discussions with team members and stakeholders and transform high-level requirements into project plans, design briefs, and development tickets
- Create scalable project workflows to streamline collaboration and approval processes
Requirements:
- 7+ years experience managing projects in a corporate web environment (or equivalent agency experience), preferably for high-tech B2B companies
- In-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
- General understanding of modern, agile processes for web and digital marketing, including refinement, story splitting, and retrospection
- Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
- Proven track record of driving complex projects to success within a dynamic, high-growth environment
- Expert in using workflow and collaboration tools in order to organize and streamline projects. (JIRA, Asana, and Slack are used by our team.)
- Excels in fluent collaboration across design, content, development, marketing, product, and IT teams
- Affinity for leading cross-functional meetings and translating stakeholder milestones into coordinated, interlocking project plans
- Confident creating and giving presentations to passionate executives and stakeholders
- Experience aligning disparate projects, programs, and teams, especially in remote work environments
- Experience working with design artifacts created in tools like Figma, Invision, Storybook, or Miro
- Experience with web content management systems, Drupal preferred
- Experience with web analytics tools, Google Analytics preferred
